Two months ago, I stopped driving my clunker to work. Instead, I've been riding the distance on this eCruiser bicycle. Our local Bear Creek Greenway, a twenty-one mile paved pathway along Bear Creek, makes the commute between towns fun and enjoyable. During June, the first month, the $30-$35 savings at the fuel pump paid for my household's electricity for the month, including charging the bike's batteries.
The eCruiser site features information about the bike, where to order it and the motor kit. There is a slideshow photo page, and a blog of entries detailing issues and enjoyment going green.
